Mexico City, Mexico | Age 19

I live in Mexico City, with both of my parents. Since I was little, I was taught to respect the world we live in, and most of all, respect all forms of life. I became vegetarian when I was 13 years old. At school, one of my favorite lessons was biology. I was amazed of how all the mechanisms of the living beings work. One of my hobbies is to observe the nature and photograph it. So it all fit together. I decided to study biology. I’m taking a year before getting to college, to be really sure of my decision.

I found the course on edX 7.00x Introduction to Biology, I was very lucky, it was exactly what I was looking for. I’ve learned so much, and through the four months the course lasted, I was incredibly happy learning each day something amazing about all secrets of life. I’m now 100% decided that I want to study biology. I have improved my English as well. This course has helped me in so many ways.

I am very thankful with Dr. Lander for making the lectures interesting and dynamic, I was never bored. I am as well very thankful for edX, for making this experience possible and for taking the knowledge available for everybody around the world.
