First Georgia Tech course on edX will focus on disabilities in the workplace.
We are honored to welcome the Georgia Institute of Technology to edX. Through our partnership, Georgia Tech will be able to offer courses to learners around the world, sharing its world-class educational programs with a global audience.
The first Georgia Tech course on edX, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Accessibility, is now open for enrollment. The course will address the importance of developing an inclusive workplace for employees and customers with disabilities. Accessibility is something we are deeply committed to at edX, and we are pleased to bring education on this important topic to millions of learners around the globe.
A pioneer in online education, Georgia Tech’s collaboration with edX marks the Institute’s continued expansion as a leader in online learning. With edX, Georgia Tech will reach learners from every country, both traditional students and early and mid career professionals, in new and innovative ways.
Additional Georgia Tech courses will be announced later in 2016. GTx will also explore credit programs on edX, along with other learning pathways to make traditional GT programs available to more learners.
Please join us in welcoming Georgia Tech!
