We are pleased to welcome our latest edX member, UC San Diego. Recognized as one of the top 15 research universities worldwide, UC San Diego is both research-focused and student-centered.

Offering MOOCs on edx.org, UC San Diego invites students worldwide to practice and gain new skills, get instant feedback and have personalized learning experiences. UC San Diego’s first free MOOC on edX will be Computer Graphics CSE167x taught by Ravi Ramamoorthi, a returning edX professor and early adopter of the edX platform. The six-week course will cover the foundations of computer graphics, and learners will be able to make images of 3D scenes in both real-time, and with offline raytracing.

A public institution focused on creating a culture of collaboration, UC San Diego believes online education is an essential tool for learners around the world to access the best education. This belief aligns with the edX mission to increase access to high-quality education for learners everywhere. And, we look forward to sharing more news about UC San Diego courses on edX in the future.

Please join me in welcoming UC San Diego and join the global learning community by enrolling in Computer Graphics CSE167x today!
