We’re excited to welcome Check Point Software Technologies, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions, to the edX partner community. Check Point’s solutions protect customers, including global corporations and governments, from 5th generation cyberattacks.
Check Point’s courses on edX were created with the goal to help close the global cybersecurity skills gap, and will be focused on network and hyperscale network security. Its initial courses, Jump Start: Network Security and Jump Start: Maestro Hyperscale Network Security, are open for enrollment today. The first course is aimed at learners that are new to the Check Point security solution, and will be taught how to configure, manage, and monitor the security environment. The second course designed for those already familiar with the Check Point Network Security solution and will introduce the Maestro Orchestrator appliance.
“Partnering with the renowned edX platform enables us to help close the ongoing cyber-security skills gap. With the global shortage having passed four million, organizations need to accelerate efforts to try and help change this ongoing issue,” said Liat Doron, Vice President of Learning and Training at Check Point Software Technologies. “Working with edX, combined with our other initiatives such as SecureAcademy, will help tackle these global skills shortages and attract the next generation of cyber-security professionals.”
We’re thrilled to have Check Point as a partner in closing the global skills gap, especially in in-demand fields like cybersecurity. Their courses in this area are a valuable addition to the career-relevant courses that many of our 33 million learners come to edX for.
