Everyday we see the dedication our students bring to their coursework. We are often inspired by how much time and effort they put into successfully completing their course and earning a certificate. With this in mind, we’re pleased to announce a new collaboration with LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, to make it easier for edX students to share their accomplishments with the world.
As part of LinkedIn’s Direct-to-Profile Certifications pilot program, our students will now have the ability to seamlessly populate their LinkedIn profiles with their edX honor code and ID verified certificates. This feature makes it easier for students to keep their professional credentials and knowledge up-to-date. We offer some of the most rigorous courses available online and want to make sure our students receive the acknowledgement they deserve.
How It Works
Step 1) When you successfully complete course and earn a certificate, you will receive a congratulations email with a link and a reminder to add the course to your LinkedIn profile.
Step 2) Open the email and click on the link. The details of the course will automatically post to your LinkedIn profile under the Certifications section. It’s that easy.
Already earned an edX certificate? Don’t worry – we will send an email to you that will allow you to post all of your certficates to your LinkedIn profile.
Our goal at edX is to expand access to quality education and empower students everywhere to discover a better future. This new LinkedIn program will allow our students to share their qualifications with the world. Stay tuned for more details and alerts as we roll out this pilot program over the next few months.
