Francesca Graziano lives in Milan, Italy and is a master’s student in Biostatistics in the University of Milan-Bicocca. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology. She took PH207x (Health in Numbers: Quantitative Methods in Clinical and Public Health Research, from HarvardX, taught by Professors Earl Francis Cook and Marcello Pagano, fall 2012). “My course in edX was very interesting. I have studied these topics in my master’s program, but in this course there are a lot of details: videos, exercises and homework. It’s very useful, especially the practical part.”
Francesa finds the flexibility of taking edX courses invaluable, especially for learners who cannot go to school because they are working. “For example, in PH207x, we could study and complete each week’s homework when we wanted to, as long as it was submitted by the deadline.” For Francesca, the ability to work within her schedule was priceless.
Francesca is an online-course veteran, having already taken five courses online. What’s her verdict on edX? “This course in edX is excellent – it’s the best.”
