We are pleased to announce that ITMO University, a National Research University of Russia, has joined edX.
With its expertise in information and technology and experience in online education, ITMO University will not only deliver high-quality content to the edX global learning community, but will also instill a love of computer science and innovation in learners around the world.
How to Win Coding Competitions: Secrets of Champions is ITMO University’s first edX course. As the only six-time world champions of the Association for Computing Machinery – International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM ICPC), a top coding competition, computer science experts from ITMO University will teach edX learners valuable programming and problem solving skills, and the secrets behind winning international coding competitions.
Participants in top coding competitions are highly valued by employers and leading software developers for their critical thinking, time management and programming skills. ITMO University coaches train coding teams from all over the globe, and now with a course on edX, they will be able to reach an even larger community of global learners.
ITMO University has become one of the first Russian universities to join edX and plans to offer additional courses throughout the year.
